Welcome to Ms. Desorcy-Muldoon's Website!
Below are some helpful reminders to be the best student you can be.
Get a good night's sleep! Well rested minds remember better and problem solve better than sleepy ones. We need sleep to help store memories as well!
Eat breakfast. You need to fuel your growing bodies and minds! Also, it's difficult to concentrate if your bodies' needs are not met.
Exercise each day to keep your bodies healthy, to relieve stress, and to just have fun!
Remember to ask questions whenever you are not sure about something.

We had a fantastic day for our Mt. Tom trip. The bright sun lit up the lake as we discovered evidence that beavers once lived in this lake. We got to see some Canada geese and (we think) a grey heron. The mud made walking a challenge in some areas as well as a thrilling adventure!
Rocks talked to us as we hiked up the hillside with Gini. We observed the sedimentary rock that was dropped off many years ago and the igneous rock that formed when Mt. Tom was an active volcano.
The last part of our day took us to the dinosaur tracks. Wow, the river is still high! We saw the many layers of rock down by the river and the tracks left by two different dinosaurs that once roamed this area.
Again...great day for a great class to explore the beautiful world around us.
