Get a good night's sleep! Well rested minds remember better and problem solve better than sleepy ones. We need sleep to help store memories as well!
Eat breakfast. You need to fuel your growing bodies and minds! Also, it's difficult to concentrate if your bodies' needs are not met.
Exercise each day to keep your bodies healthy, to relieve stress, and to just have fun!
Remember to ask questions whenever you are not sure about something.

We had a beautiful day on our field trip. Students enjoyed seeing all the wonders of the trails we hiked at Mt. Tom. We observed different types of rocks (sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic). We had a gorgeous view and experienced a restful moment listening to the brook run by us. We were fortunate to see many signs of beaver, but they did not show themselves today.
Students seemed to especially like our stop at the Dinosaur Tracks area on Route 5. We sat on the layers upon layers of rock down by the river where we sketched scenes. Then we walked among the dinosaurs where their tracks were left behind.
